Connecting and Using Spreadsheet Standard for Cognex Vision Applications


AN OVERVIEW OF THE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE USED BY COGNEX IN-SIGHT VISION SYSTEMS

The In-Sight Spreadsheet Standard product class gives new In-Sight® users an overview of the hardware and software used by Cognex Vision Systems. With the focus on getting the most from the In-Sight Explorer spreadsheets interface, users learn how to walk through the process of setting up a vision application using spreadsheet programming best practices.
One-day event offers hands-on training.
We will connect an In-Sight camera to the network, capture an image, navigate through the spreadsheet, create some basic mathematical formulas involving if/and functions, implement fixturing in an In-Sight job, use the core vision tools, including pattern recognition, histogram, blob, and edge tools,

go over the methods of calibration and their purpose, describe different forms of communication: discrete I/O and network communications, explain the fundamentals of lighting and optics and then create a custom view in a job.

Who should attend?

Anyone who is responsible for machine vision will gain valuable information from their time spent with us. All attendees should bring a laptop with updated software pre-downloaded.
